Acne Laser Skin Treatment Lasers

Since there are a number of different lasers available for acne laser skin treatment, it is important to understand the differences between them and choosing one that will most effectively help the condition. Several lasers have proven to successfully treat acne, including the pulsed-dye laser and the 1450 nm infrared laser. Both showed noticeable signs of improvements and helped diminish signs of lesions by over 80%. The procedure is not usually without some degree of discomfort, however, and can be accompanied by redness, pain and swelling in some patients. This is why acne laser skin treatment for some people may not the ideal solution to their skin problem. Side effects from laser acne removal are different with each person and need to be discussed with a dermatologist or laser surgeon beforehand.
